Homestay
A homestay in Peru in one of our carefully selected local guest families is one of the truly outstanding features of our Spanish language and volunteer program. The homestay program involves experiencing the culture of the people and provides the advantage of being completely immersed both in the Spanish language and in the traditional hospitality of a family in Peru. It also provides more opportunity to practice Spanish and therefore enhances a student's ability to converse in Spanish.
In case the student or volunteer has any special requests, Proyecto Peru will do its best to satisfy any specific needs you may have (vegetarian, allergic to pets, diabetics etc). We monitor the students and volunteers through regular inspections at home. Homestay with a guest family includes full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
This option is ideal for students who are willing and able to adapt to the standards and lifestyle of others.
Apartment
You can choose to stay in a shared apartment. All apartments are located within 25 minutes walking distance from our centre. Ideal for independent students who wish to be able to cook and stay with other students, volunteers and interns of Proyecto Peru. The apartment is furnished. You will share the apartment. You will have your own bedroom and share the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Private apartments in Cusco are available on request.
Hostal
Do you plan to stay in Cusco and you would like to stay with other backpackers and tourists? Choose for a stay in a good hostal with Proyecto Peru. Social contact with fellow travellers is guaranteed and the hostal offers you great quality. You will have cable TV, a private bathroom, heating, Wi-Fi, free use of the kitchen and free hot drinks. Your stay in this quality hostal includes an American breakfast. The hostal is in the city centre, close to the Spanish school and has a 24 hour reception. You can choose a single room, a double room or a double bed. We can offer you the hostal at a special discount price!
Airport pick-up
Whatever accommodation you prefer: a homestay with a local guest family, shared flat or a nice hostal in Cusco, all options include pick-up service. We will pick you up from the airport in Cusco and bring you to your accommodation.
