Volunteer work children

Volunteer projects with Children

Preschool and kindergarten children attend classes in their own schools on campus, and enjoy organized arts and crafts activities. By helping them with their school work, and sharing your special talents in music or other creative arts a few hours each day, you can stimulate and encourage their development.

Volunteering with school students

Volunteer work public school

In Public Schools
The volunteer works in schools in less developed areas around Cusco. Volunteers are expected to help teachers as classroom assistants, especially teaching English and sports, but also organizing creative activities and playing with the students in the playground. The schools lack many materials and this makes the work quite challenging. All of this interaction will help improve your Spanish.

In Proyecto Peru Centre
In Cusco, there are many people living in poverty who don´t have an opportunity to provide proper education for their children. Our purpose is to help these children (from 9 to 17 years old) by encouraging them to learn English. The lessons will be developed and taught in our centre.

Sports volunteering

Teaching sports

This includes football and volleyball coaching in a public school.  If you like teaching sports, this is the perfect project for you!

By running training sessions and organizing matches, you will give young players in the school a chance to enjoy the game and be a part of a structured team.

After school projects

Volunteering after school project

As a volunteer you can work in an after school project. The children go to this project to do their homework, to do activities and to have fun with children of their own age.

A volunteer can help organizing sports and creative activities, help the children with doing their homework and teach them English, hygiene or anything you have a talent for.
