Placement Test
Before a course begins, each student completes an oral and written
placement test. By scoring the results, the language coordinator places
students at the appropriate level.
Certificate
Depending on the results of the final oral and written test,
students can receive a certificate of completion. It will state the
level achieved and the total number of hours completed.
Levels
Beginners
Students will be able to use and understand simple sentences
relating to basic needs.
Intermediate
Student will be able to express themselves spontaneously, in day-to-day
situations, revising their knowledge along the way.
Advanced
Students will have advanced communication ability, even in complex
situations being able to communicate with native Spanish speakers with
ease.
Superior
This level is for students who need to perfect their oral language
skills. Special emphasis will be placed on pronunciation and intonation.
They will be able to use the Spanish language flexibly and effectively
in social, academic and professional contexts.
Public Holidays
There will be no classes on the following public holidays: 1 January, 1
May, 24 June, 28 and 29 July, 1 November and 25 December.
