Proyecto Peru offers possibilities for internships in Cusco. Peru, especially Cusco, is a privileged place for its great natural, cultural and human legacy. But, unfortunately, many people in the region live in poverty and don’t have the opportunity to provide proper education or healthcare for their children.
We are able to provide, in cooperation with different projects, interesting opportunities for an internship in Cusco. Although you will not receive a salary for your internship, an internship is not volunteering. Your tasks will normally be more specific and there will be more supervision. Your school or university can also have some specific demands on the content or the organization of your internship.
We will do our best to create an optimal working environment, but of course you will be responsible for the scope of your internship. There are different opportunities to make your internship an interesting learning experience, as well as a contribution to the local society. Proyecto Peru offers a medical internship for medical students throughout all the year. We have great opportunities for people with specific knowledge in the medical field. In the social and educational field, we have possibilities to work with children of all ages in orphanages or public schools. You can be an assistant teacher in a kindergarten or teach English or sports to older children. We also work with a project in which you can organize after-school activities.
