Proyecto Peru offers a fun program combining Spanish and salsa. You want to learn how to dance salsa? Or you want to improve your techniques? This offer is made for you! Salsa has its origins in Cuba and is popular throughout Latin America. Peru is no exception and you can dance salsa in one of the many clubs in Cusco. Dancing salsa is fun and a great way to meet new friends.
The Salsa & Spanish program is 1 week long. Take more weeks if you want to gain an advanced level. The Spanish course is a 20 hour course in a small group (max 4 students). The lessons are from Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day.
We work together with a professional salsa school in Cusco for the salsa course. You will get 5 salsa lessons of 1 hour each. The salsa lessons will be in a group. You will dance in a group with your level of salsa. In case there is no group of the same level at the moment you are in Cusco, you will get 3 private Salsa lessons instead. With a one week course you will get the basics of salsa. Book 2, 3 or more weeks to become an advanced salsa dancer!
You want to walk the famous 4-day Inca trail to Machu Picchu? We offer an interesting package deal. Everybody who is going to walk the Inca trail needs to be in Cusco some days before the hiking starts to get used to the altitude. You can use this time to immerse in the Spanish language and the Peruvian culture.
The offer contains 1 full week of living with a Peruvian guest family. Living with a family means getting to know the Peruvian culture from within a family, an excellent way to discover what Peru and its people have to offer. All meals are included and you will of course share these moments with your guest family. During the week in Cusco you will follow a Spanish program. This is a 20 hour Spanish course with lessons in a small group of students with the same Spanish level. Lessons are Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day. After this week you will start to walk the classic Inca trail. You must walk this famous 4-day trail at least once in your life!

The most popular rafting trip from Cusco is a 1-day rafting trip to the Urubamba River. The Urubamba River has class III and IV rapids, far from easy! This trip is available for everybody, previous rafting experience is not required. Feel the thrill of white water rafting in our special 1-day trip. Proyecto Peru works together with an experienced rafting company that puts safety first. After the rafting you will have lunch at the river camp, where you can also take your hot shower or sauna before heading back to Cusco.
Proyecto Peru has a special offer with one week of Spanish group lessons. You will follow our 20 hour program for 1 week and in the weekend you will go rafting!
