If you're studying medicine, or if you're already working in the field, or planning to study a subject related to healthcare, a placement with Proyecto Peru will give you a working experience unlike any you've gained so far. This is a different country, culture and society. The contrast between Western medical facilities and practice and those of the developing world is huge, but this in itself contributes to your experience & knowledge.
You will be part of a team, and need a lot of initiative to do this placement.
The project runs all year round, and is available for a minimum of 4 weeks.
